Brick walls painted white, except the mortar wasn't painted very well. The blue paint from a previous tenant showing though looked like mold growing around the brick.
A bespoke solid oak and glass staircase. Due to a low strength wall, a metal string with tread pins was pre-fixed before plastering, the treads and then the glass wall where fitted after the building work was completed but before all the decorations. The inner glass wall is made from 25mm toughened and laminated clear glass and spans from floor to ceiling. The treads where attached through the glass with stainless steel fixings. The wall handrail is slightly curved to follow the layout of the angled entry treads.

The building I live in was constructed in 1913 and was converted into loft apartments in 1998. Its listed on both the Texas and National Register of Historic Places and is located in downtown Dallas.
The William IV Pub had a devastating fire in a shed and it spread to the living quarters on the 9th August 2015.The rebuild started on the 2nd November 2015.This is a photo reference for all to see of its progress to its former glory.

The blue structure is a toilet and an attached shower. Parts of the kitchen-island, the bathtub, the bed, nearly everthing but the Toilet is designed to be easy movable (i.e. on wheels). We intensified the atmosphere with some auxiliary floodlights. Enjoy it and do me a favor and watch this in large for the details.
The stairs I was standing on were kind of mushy, so I didn't want to go all the way up even though the barn's only been empty since about 2001.

Lighting info
Two lights were used, main light camera left, a Profoto D1 250 Air with a white Softlight Reflector (beauty dish) and the other behind me pointing back at a white wall for fill.
Nikon D700 and a 85mm/1.4 lens. Processed in Lightroom 4 and some fixes in Photoshop (mostly bringing back details on this shirt).
