The most inspiring thing for me was that beautiful green Lock,
it gives a memorable Feeling.
I checked on my sales thread at tib today - and it was locked! Welcome in the new era: tib launched it's new "buy.sell.contribute" site to take over from the old sales forums.
Part of me wants to stamp my feet and toss my hair: the old sales forums were free. But the tib community has grown so amazingly, it must cost Gina et al a bomb to run. So more power to them, and if it helps underwrite the tib forum, I'm for it. ^^

Scenes from last weekend's GSTA Rod and Custom Show in St. Paul. This is a custom door lock from a custom flaming red Ford. (My husband is the car nut in the family, by the way.)
During a small walk, i found a old lock. With the composition and postprocessing, I tried to make the picture look old, like this lock.
For comments and constructive criticism I'ld be thankful.

While in Yellowstone NP, we encountered several bighorn sheep ram along the hillside grazing on the grasses sticking up through the snowy landscape. The light was so very beautiful and enabled us to capture that eye, which I always find so intriguing.
This ram had some pretty beat up horns too. Made me wonder how curled they would have been if they weren't so worn down. Of course, I also thought about what stories those curls could tell about the life of this beautiful bighorn sheep.
But getting back to that eye ... there are few animals that possess such a mesmerizing eye as the BHS, at least to me. Eye contact is generally locked and sustained. Such a thrill. :-)

I was looking everywhere for an interesting lock, an old lock or a rusty lock for the challenge I'm doing, then I noticed that the ordinary everyday garden shed had a pretty lock! So here it is!
