Autumn leaves... remember the song? that's what I thought of as these two models sat watching the world dashing by
Sat outside one of the best places to be seen at... Florian's
in St Marks Square... at the Venice Carnival 2020
Little did we know that Venice would go into lock down... two day's after I left... so very sad, and even more so as they had just got through the worst floods in many years...
Quick snap of my dad while he was standing over one of the lock gates, taking a photograph looking down at the rushing water pouring over it.
Captured in: Smoky Mountain National Park.
Cherokee, NC.
Pictured here is the third in a set of images featuring an up-close and personal view of Elk bulls roaming the fields of Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
This shot was captured just as two young bulls began sparing (commonly seen during the rutting season), trying to prepare themselves to one day challenge the head bull for the lead role in their gang.

It was a busy day at the office; I was training people all day. There's nothing like a day of training people to remind yourself what your weakness are when it comes to the job.
Lots of questions and some had to go unanswered, but that's okay because I'll figure out the answers and share the knowledge tomorrow.
I find training people to be exhausting but it's also a great way to figure out what I need to work on, and where to build.
I believe it was Albert Einstein who said "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." and I agree with this line of thought and strive to follow it when it comes to teaching people.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

The 'Top Lock' and canalside shop along the Grand Union Canal at Braunston, Northamptonshire. A shot I have done many times, but decided to take another as I was heading to the Marina, as the sun had just popped out, and I really liked the sky.
Sadly, I had little luck with the rest of my session, and mission was aborted.

beyond the doors
nothingness lies
locked out forever
a poor born child
with shut open eyes
on wings he flies
his future is bleak
tears and cries
naked to the core
his human soul
on a long drive
sometimes dead
sometimes alive
against all odds
he must survive
like a sacrificial goat
playing hide and seek
with a butchers knife
