Friday evening, people leave work, some go home, others go shopping, some leave Madrid, others enter.
It is an incessant movement of lights and colors that make the city vibrate at the beginning of the weekend, the last of the month of February.
About a year after the severe lockdown, each light trail we see carries with it life, hope, dreams to fulfill, future projects to fight for, which excite us and push us forward. What will fate hold for each of us?
Happy Friday and a good start to the weekend!

In this stage 4 lockdown, hairdressers are closed and I am really starting to need a decent trim. Who knows what we all will look like when we are finally allowed to be well groomed again! Happy Sliders Sunday :))
I have set myself a lockdown challenge too only take photos in my garden or from my garden. It is going to be interesting to see what effect this has on my photographic skills. With no travelling involved I will be able to take advantage of the change in the light conditions, and hopefully this will help me improve my eye for a composition.
Stay safe Stay Home.
One very happy person in the family has been Zak. 3 Walks a day are now required and he is loving it!
One from the archives from May of 2020 although the date might say different. I used to swim in this vast saltwater pool but was prohibited during lockdown. I will always remember the quietness during those months. No planes flying overhead. Normality appears to have returned somewhat.
We sent flowers to all our daughters to cheer them up - so we sent ourselves some too! Extravagant, but offering a bit of hope and pleasure...

I can feel you calling me
I can see the cracks between these walls
But this pain
I choke on the words as they rise in me
To survive, I lock down
I can feel you calling me
I can taste the poison in your heart
But these dreams
Blurring the line between war and peace
To survive, I lock down
Say the words
I can’t face the world
If I could say the words
Everything would be broken still
We are broken....
I had no brave customer so i thought why not do me!
I set it up with a soft box on a stand with a godox flash off camera.

Sport in Gruppen (z.

A teddy looks down onto our passivhaus village green space on day one of our new lockdown. Ten people with covid in NZ outside the quarantine hotels. Now it is confirmed to be delta variant most likely from Sydney. It just took one missed visitor ...My second shot of vaccine comes up very soon.
