Estudantes do IPBeja promovem praxe solidária para ajudar Instituições locais
Os estudantes do Instituto Politécnico de Beja, fizeram da praxe uma experiência no sentido de dinamizar ainda mais o sentido de entreajuda e solidariedade para com o próximo.
Enquadrado nas atividades de integração académica – Praxe e à semelhança do que tem acontecido em anos anteriores, realizou-se no dia 28 de Setembro de 2015, o dia dedicado à solidariedade. Esta iniciativa decorreu na cidade de Beja e juntou os alunos provenientes das quatro escolas do IPBeja que se uniram, uma vez mais, para auxiliar instituições de solidariedade social enaltecendo a construção de valores como o de ajuda a quem mais precisa, dentro ou fora da escola, segundo organização.
Cada escola assumiu o desafio de fazer a diferença numa instituição de solidariedade social. A Escola Superior de Saúde associou-se à Operação Nariz Vermelho, tendo os estudantes desta escola percorrido várias artérias da cidade praticando a venda de merchandising e conseguindo angariar 1000 € que foram entregues na totalidade a essa instituição, com o objetivo de ajudar a financiar a IPSS.
A Caritas de Beja foi o alvo da iniciativa da Escola Superior de Educação com auxílio na recolha de vestuário, alimentos e materiais escolares. Simultaneamente, os alunos da Escola Superior Agrária promoveram uma campanha de limpeza que serviu também de justificativa para dar a conhecer a cidade aos recém-chegados alunos e enaltecendo a importância de todos contribuírem positivamente.
Os Bombeiros Voluntários de Beja, como já vem sendo tradição, foram também abrangidos pela iniciativa, desta feita pelos estudantes da Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão (ESTIG), que não mediram esforços na venda de diversos materiais de merchandising da corporação, que resultou num valor de 363.20€. A AHJA – Associação Jovem HAbi(li)tar Alentejo que tem desenvolvido na comunidade iniciativas inclusivas, particularmente para crianças com necessidades especiais, também mereceu a devida atenção da ESTIG que procedeu à venda de rifas solidárias, cujo o valor total arrecadado foi de 230€.
