Los equipos de robótica educativa «Tuercas Locas» y «Locas Tuercas» estuvieron compitiendo en la First Lego League 2014 capitaneados por Kathia Pittí, Román Ontiyuelo e Ignacio Colino.
Un nutrido grupo de familiares y amigos acompañó a estos campeones, apoyando con fuerza a los dos equipos peñarandinos.
¡Alegría y satisfacción por trabajo realizado y con el premio al mejor diseño del robot!

The annual hair extravaganza that is Hair Fair is back! The fair goes from July 2-July 15.
I've made three styles for this year's fair. Helen is a bee-hive up-do with a color change band & flower.

Two new hairs! Ok, so they're semi new, you all got to see previews of them in the last CHIC event, and now here comes the full release!
First we've got Frances, a long long style with two attachment points. The top half of the hair attaches on the skull, as usual, and the bottom part attaches on the sprine. This makes it so that you can avoid hair in the boob syndrome! Oh, and you can also wear just the top part for a shorter style. This is my first ever two-attachment point hair so I hope you all like the idea!

NIPT là xét nghiệm sàng lọc trước sinh không xâm lấn (còn gọi là xét nghiệm cell free DNA – cfDNA) giúp phát hiện các hội chứng liên quan đến bất thường về số lượng NST (thể dị bội) ở thai nhi qua máu mẹ, có kết quả chính xác cao.
Trong quá trình mang thai, một lượng ADN của thai nhi được giải phóng và di chuyển tự do trong máu mẹ , người ta gọi các ADN này là ADN tự do (cfDNA). Với sự ra đời của máy giải trình tự ADN thế hệ mới và hệ thống siêu máy tính, các nhà khoa học Mỹ đã phát triển phương pháp phân tích cfDNA để chẩn đoán các bệnh di truyền của thai nhi mà không cần phải thực hiện các biện pháp can thiệp xâm lấn.

O'Leary's 97th birthday was in January of this year. She is a retired teacher of Northampton and meets with her teacher friends on the 2nd tuesday of every month for breakfast, today it was lunch and a birthday celebration. Sitting next to her are Wally Brown (right) and on her other side is Andrea Uhlig, Ruth Barton and Bill Johnson.
