Phew - it is way too late and I need to go to bed - not thrilled with this one, and the picture is blurry but I am too tired to fix it!
Not a self-portrait exactly, but part of my decision this year to read more deliberately - I took on a bunch of reading challenges to help me do it.
Those lined kraft journaling boxes are from Creative Memories - at least 6 years old - and that definition sticker isn't much newer.
Waterford, Ireland. Loading "A Seabhac Mara" on the trailer took 10 people and about three hours time. This is the boat I'll be cometing in Italy with. Her max is 12 knots...I've only witness 8, but hopefully she'll shine in Genoa this summer.
Graffiti artists commissioned by the Royal Albert Hall, in partnership with the young urban collective and creative pioneers Daydream Network, transformed the walls of the Hall's Loading Bay, usually used for getting in over 350 shows a year, into a gallery of street art and graffiti artwork.
Here's another lo from Archiver's. I don't have pictures with me for this. Plus I'm literally doing this in the car driving (husband is driving) on his iPhone. That's what happens when you combine dedication and technology!
Well good to see my ISP finally got there shit together and fixed the issue. I will be uploading a few shots tonight. Headed out with

Anticipating our Reno Trip
on the Motorcycle
I am really looking forward to our trip to Reno this June (2013). We are going to celebrate my losing 50 pounds!
On top of that, we are going to drive the new motorcycle there. It will be our first long distance trip on the motorcycle. We are going to attend the Street Vibrations Spring Rally in Sparks, NV, another first.
Our plan is to stay at the Atlantis Hotel in Reno & drive into Sparks for the Rally. That way if the Rally is too much for us, we can always go back to the relative quiet of our hotel & casino.
I keep a gratitude journal and this was todays entry.
journaling reads cool crisp, autumn days* the first wood fires* warm hugs from little boys*soup simmering on the stove top*cold clear nights with stars that look like you can reach out and touch them*my husband’s hand in mine*the crunch of a crisp apple*crackling leaves under foot*Amazing colors that only God could paint*My family all around me*
This was on our trip to Israel in 2009 with Precept Ministries. Everyday we held Bible study in a different location. This day we were at Caesarea Theater and Kay Arthur was giving us all a visual walk through the Bible. I love her dearly she is a great Godly woman!!
Trebuchet Loading | Four people in the two wheels walk to pull the rope to lower the boom to raise the 6.5-ton counterweight. The loose line on the outside has a pouch; in this case they loaded it with a flaming shot. Note the archers to the right just loosing their arrows. | June 2, 2011 | Canon EOS 5D Mark II | ¹⁄₄₀₀ sec at f/5.0 250
