Shot taken during 2009 Travel to Sri Lanka.
I suppose it's a Common Garden Lizard (Calotes versicolor).. not sure of course!

These were a couple of many young lizards sunbathing on various wooden objects.
Taken on the path to Jetty Hide at Colne Point Nature Reserve.

We saw some real dinosaur footprints not too far away but this was the closet we came to being eaten!

Possibly a Common Side-blotched Lizard (Uta stansburiana), White Rocks Loop Trail, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Nevada
If you keep your eyes open, and know where to look, you'll eventually see how many lizards there are here.
