And of course: the good old lizards. Easy to spot, but faster than lightning so very difficult to capture on film.

This guy was sitting on my bedroom floor, and didn't run away when I got near him, but instead hopped up onto my finger. So I deposited him in the plants outside the front door, where lots of other little tiny lizards live.

A "dinosaur" along the Jurassic coast path at Durlston.

IMG_2743e; Ornate Tree Lizard

Lower Sabie, Kruger National Park, South Africa

so many lizards running around, fast little things, in the end I just sat on a rock and snapped them as they passed by. They were on average 6-8 inches long.

Galapagos Lava Lizard from Isabella Island.

Just saying "Hi" at breakfast.

I snapped this picture of a lizard on the large granite boulder that sits in the front border. You will see up to a dozen lizards on a sunny day as they emerge from the rocks and bask in the sun on the front walls, path or rocks.

They are quite bold creatures and you can get right up close before they scurry off.

The sun came out and so did the Lizards at Kirkby. This one was quite happy to be photographed.
