This weekend's activities revolved around the Sudarshana Chakra, Lord Narayanaya's famed spiritual weapon. Known for its protection of the surrendered devotees and its destruction of all negative forces, it was a timely focus for these days of Covid-19 and the fear that seems so prevalent in the world today.
Saturday started with Guru puja, followed by Kalash puja, and then the Sudarshana Yajna began. For this event, not only the main yajna kund was used, but eight individual kunds were placed around the Sudarshana murti located in front of the main temple. Simultaneously, 50 individually-sponsored yajnas were performed on the back lawn by Residents of The Ashram. After the yajnas, Gurudev also performed an abhishekam ceremony on the large murti.
The entire event was livestreamed and commented on by Rishis and Swamis who gave insights into the significance of the Sudarshana Chakra and told personal stories. On Sunday morning, Gurudev joined the prayers to sing a variety of beautiful bhajans, too.

I woke up this morning to see this bizarrely written press release from Dunamis International Gospel Centre, the release is materially false on so many levels and Dr. Paul Enenche and his wife, Dr. Becky Enenche who Deji Adeyanju, lawyer Marshal D.F. Abubakar and I met with on Monday, are aware of the facts of this case.
HERE ARE THE FACTS:
- 10 activists attended the first service of Dunamis International Gospel Centre church on Sunday.
- They wore #BuhariMustGo T-shirts ( which is not a crime and Dr. Paul Enenche attests to this during our two-hour long meeting).
- They answered “altar call” wearing the Tshirts, were given holy communion and welcome packages ( Dr. Enenche attests to seeing them and even said he was excited).
- They did not livestream or protest inside the church (Dr. Enenche attests to their orderly conduct)
- Upon exiting the church auditorium, they started livestreaming on Facebook and I was the one who shared the livestream and added that “#BuhariMustGo hits Dunamis” Not the activists.
- They were approached by Church Security and TOLD to end the livestream, they insisted it was their right and Emmanuel Larry told them he was a journo and maintained respectful distance from the church security.
- They let them leave and the 10 activists got to the main road and five of the activists boarded a vehicle and left.
