This old airfield close to Karlstad city center was decommissioned many years ago (in 2000, mainly due to city expansion, noice and poor profitability). Instead there's a golf course and motorcycle driving school on parts of the previous runway.

Saxony's only light house!
I got lucky: when I was there, it wasn't all surrounded by water. A small puddle formed that nicely reflected the lighthouse itself.
Love this shot a lot, it simply works for me. From the overall composition to the small intricate details, the lighting and the contrast range. Exactly how I wanted it.
I experimented with Catechol as a second developer here. Either I've messed something up or it's just like that but the smell of the developer was unbearable. I made a second print with slightly more exposure and no second bath and it turned out similar enough. Not quite as colorful, the saturation was a bit less, still more than usable.

I used a 5 year old pinhole negative to make this 25x40cm Lith print on Fomatone paper, using Moersch EasyLith SE to avoid the dreaded snowball effect. Unfortunately, the newer versions of this paper are not litheable anymore since the last changes end of last year, which apparently means there are no lith papers in production at the moment right now. I do hope I'm wrong....Fortunately I do have a substantial stock of older papers for lith printing, but not in the 40x50cm size I'd like to use for an upcoming exhibition. Well, let's see....

One of my first lith prints, way back in 2015. To be recreated on Foma Retrobrom 40x50cm soon, for an exhibition after this year. I'll use Moersch Easy Lith SE for that, to prevent snowballs on the print.
Unfortunately, I can't scan prints that large, and my panorama stitcher software only takes 5 source images while I need 6. So I need to figure out how to share the results, part of the fun.
