Living with a feline friend has many facets. The cosy and furry hair ball has another, totally different side.

She is a hard core, in DNA imprinted, predator.

So make no mistake, if you "have" a cat, she/he will bring you many proofs of that. The worst (?) Selma brought home was a squirrel almost half her size. Neatly delivered outside my front door, saying:

- Look daddy, ain't I just the best cat you've ever loved?

- Yes, Selma, you are. But don't kill anymore squirrels, please.

This epic Fotokemika Emaks paper was recently acquired from the Swedish auction site "Tradera". The vendor stating that it was an unopened box. Of course it wasn't, there are so many liers out there. But thanks to the lith printing (and lumen printing) process, these fogged papers can still be used.

I - incorrectly - repaired my phone's camera. This has meant useless, washed out photos from it. However, there is the occasional gem in amongst all the crap. I like the washed out tones of this image, which I've given a digital lith print feel. Just need to re-repair the phone now!

Today we are experiencing some glass orb shooting with analog film and Mamiya's exceptional 120 mm 1:1 macro lens.

If you're interested, have a look at the gear behind the scene (separate image).

This was a challenge with a very uncertain outcome. Somehow Selma stayed in place long enough to rig the gear and have a shot. Thanks Selma, and yes, you're safe in your bubble :-)

Lith print using Moersch Easy Lith 20+20+960 on expired Tura BN17PE. The serial number starts with 69, could it be that this paper is 50 years expired? Anyway, it has an interesting pattern. Is there anyone who can tell me more about this paper?

An older negative printed only now. Certainly something for the lith grain fetishist ;)

I much prefer this lith print over my original upload which was simply a direct negative scan. This print has such a heavy, dramatic look to it and fits the subject much better, I believe.
