A private hospital in the Chelsea district. Named after Joseph Lister. Interestingly, the only literature I can find on the hospital indicates it opened in 1985 - obviously a new hospital in an old building if that is correct.

Interesting to note, at the TOP of the list is PBR (or Pabst Blue Ribbon), which is about as FAR from good-tasting, craft beer as you can get. There was a wide variety of beer on the list to satisfy everyone, from "beer snobs" to "PBR drinkers" and everyone in between.
The Deer's Head Inn. Recommended by the person renting us a vacation home. A perfect dinner spot for our family!

This 1839 schoolhouse is in stone with a slate roof and has a single storey. On the east side is a moulded doorway, rectangular windows, and a plain parapet. There are small pinnacles on the gables, and an inscribed tablet on the south gable end.

A mid 19th century house later converted into flats, in red brick with sandstone dressings and a slate roof, and in Tudor style, It has 2 !⁄2 storeys and a symmetrical three-bay front. The narrow central bay contains a Tudor arched doorway with a hood mould, above which is an oriel window, and a half-dormer containing a casement. The outer bays contain casement windows in each floor.
