a little update to the pagan outfit my thought prosses is its symbolic eyes in the wings on the "he knows what you are sleeping he knows when you are awake" "he knows if you been bad or good." "you better watch out you better not cry." playing around that there some seasonal justice but i try to make the character look sad

In late August I drove from Portland to Lake Tahoe for a family vacation. Unbeknownst to me my vacation coincided with a convergence of Burning Man participants upon the Reno area for staging. Three young college girls from Winnipeg Manitoba answered my Craigs List ride share add and successfully scaled the cryptic inquisitions of my offering. They paid. They didn't smell to badly. They were good company and entertained my musical interests all with good spirits.

We enjoyed each others company on the way down and when they said they were to ride out the remainder of their time in limbo before Burning Man I suggested that we spend a little more time together in Lake Tahoe. Since there wasn't anyone else staying at my family cabin they stayed with me and I enjoyed sharing California facts* and the beautiful sights around Lake Tahoe..

que sean muchos los días de verano;

llegar allí, he aquí tu destino.

Mas no hagas con prisas tu camino;

Sin ellas, jamás habrías partido;

tened bien presente no deteneros.

volved a empezar nuevos pasos.

sabed encontrar nuevas sendas.

Buen viaje para los guerreros

que a su pueblo son fieles

favorezca el Dios de los vientos

el velamen de su barco

y a pesar de su viejo combate

tengan placer de los cuerpos más amantes.

Llenad redes de queridos luceros

llenos de aventuras, llenos de conocimiento.

Buen viaje para los guerreros

si a su pueblo son fieles

y a pesar de su viejo combate

el amor llena su cuerpo generoso

encuentren los caminos de viejos anhelos

llenos de aventuras, llenos de conocimiento.

**Orange County Courthouse** - National Register of Historic Places Ref # 79003062, date listed 19791228

Madison Rd. and N. Main St.

Orange, VA (Orange County)

Located at the intersection of routes 15 and 20, in the heart of the town of Orange, the courthouse is the central building in a complex of county office buildings that consists of the courthouse, clerk's office, and jail. A Confederate monument, erected in 1900, completes the classic Virginian courthouse square. Constructed between 1858-9, the courthouse was built in the Italian Villa style according to the plans of Haskins and Alexander of Washington. D.C. (1)

The Orange County Courthouse marks a radical departure from the traditional classical-style Virginia courthouse, illustrating public acceptance of exotic taste in late antebellum times. Designed by Charles Haskins of the Washington firm of Haskins and Alexander, and erected in 1858-59, the building has all of the major characteristics of the Italian Villa style: deep-bracketed cornices, shallow-hipped roofs, and a square tower. The work is Orange County’s fourth court structure built specifically as such. It replaced an existing courthouse that was taken down as the result of railroad construction. The arcaded openings on the first floor were filled in ca. 1948. (2)

The Lister Block was erected by Joseph Lister on the corner of King William and James Streets in Hamilton in 1886. Soon after its completion it became one of the most desirable central business locations in Hamilton. The building was considered modern for its time, It had a boiler house, new methods of heating, and elevators. In 1922, an arcade was erected. When the building was occupied, the four upper floors housed offices, while the fifth floor was occupied by professional tenants, such as physicians, dentists, chiropractors, and beauty specialists. The sixth floor was occupied by offices.During the 1970's , with the completion of the new city hall the focus of civic and cultural activity began to shift from the Lister Block, causing financial difficulties for its tenants. By the early part of the 1990s, eviction notices were issued to all the tenants of the Lister Building. Since then it has remaind abandoned, in a constant state of deterioration.

Listed Buildings, identified as such through Martin Greaney's excellent website 'Historic Liverpool'.

Numbers 7 to 19 and 21 to 27 are all listed grade ll.

The Chapter House at the Grade I Listed Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

The Chapter House is a decagonal building with a single, central column that twenty ribs rise from. Each separate area of Lincoln can be identified solely by the different vaults of the space.

Lincoln Cathedral (in full The Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln, or sometimes St. Mary's Cathedral) the seat of the Bishop of Lincoln in the Church of England. Building commenced in 1088 and continued in several phases throughout the medieval period. It was reputedly the tallest building in the world for 238 years (1311–1549) before the central spire collapsed in an Earthquake in 1549 and was not rebuilt. It is highly regarded by architectural scholars; the eminent Victorian writer John Ruskin declared: "I have always held... that the cathedral of Lincoln is out and out the most precious piece of architecture in the British Isles and roughly speaking worth any two other cathedrals we have."

Leadenhall Market, London. The central crossover of the market is lit by a spectacular glazed dome. The market is grade 2* listed.

Hotel. Mid C17, refurbished in mid C18, early and late C19. Rough Ham Hill stone ashlar, slate roof with stepped stone coping and brick stacks to gable ends and left-of-centre, backing onto the north wall of the carriage entrance. Long rectangular-plan front range with extensive rear wings. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 9-window range. Second floor has 3/6-pane sashes; windows to first and ground floors have keyed lintels over horned 2/2-pane sashes in forward frames. A painted stone doorcase to right-of-centre has a pediment, moulded achitrave, and double doors of 3 panels; this reaches the painted platband at first-floor sill level. The carriage entrance with segmental arch, is below the third window from the left, and immediately to its left are double 3-panel doors with overlight. To far left are late C19 paired 1/1-pane sashes with a shared sill. The rear, facing west, has large C19 gabled extension to the centre of the main block, 2 storeys and attic, with C19 windows and C20 entrance and door. To the right is an C18 two-storey rubblestone and slate wing which has a stone mullioned Venetian window with intersecting glazing bars to the top. Attached to this is an early C19 two-storey lower wing with three 8/8-pane sashes to the centre and stone steps with wrought-iron railings rising from the centre, to double first-floor doors at each end. The ground floor of this wing has 2 re-set early C17 four-light stone mullioned windows, ovolo to the left, cavetto to the right. The late C19 wing to the left is the rubblestone and pantile stable block which has C20 two- and three-light windows to the ground floor, wide planked doors to inside-right and to the hayloft above, and to inside-left, which is flanked by fixed 3-light windows, each with 3/3 fixed lights above. INTERIOR: A late C17 fireplace with egg-and-dart moulding to an eared architrave and a central block set in cushion moulding to the top, stands against the wall to the left of the main building, ie. to the right of the arch; a chamfered cross-beam remains to the left of the main room. The first floor has been altered; the second floor reveals a structure of 11 bays with heavy square trenched purlins and original jointing-in of the rear right wing. The roof, probably repaired and boarded in the early C19, has substantial main rafters jointed with roughly-cut plates to house the ridge-in-notch; many common rafters are repaired, replaced or jointed in. A straight early C18 staircase near the left end is open-string with turned balusters, a wide swept rail and fretted ends. Victoria Baths is one of 5 Grade II* listed public baths in the country. Described by the Manchester Guardian at the time of its opening as 'probably the most splendid bathing institution in the country'. The Lord Mayor at the time described it as a water palace. Designed by T de Courcy Meade, Arthur Davies and Henry Price it opened in September 1906 at a cost of £59,939. The building finally closed in 1993 and the Victoria Baths Trust formed to ensure the building survived with the goal of restoring and reopening it.
