Seen from the last inbound North Central Service train of the day, a diverse lineup of power, both operable and not, presents itself in the last rays of sun at Metra's Western Avenue Coach Yard, From left to right: F59PH 94, F40Cs 614 and 611, F40PH-3 215 and SW1500 6. To the right of the power is a newly-repainted caboose wearing Rock Island logos.
"The line_up is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The“liners” are made out of paper (Din A3),
oil paint and graphite, the theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers."

Waking up 6am in the morning for shots with no people in them was certainly worth it.
