Nothing like exotics early in the morning on a freezing winter day!

What a treat! The Horseless Carriage Club of America held its 2015 New England Brass and Gas Tour starting in Boxborough this year. On Thursday night, when Minuteman Airfield hosts its weekly Wings and Wheels pizza party, a large group of these gorgeous vehicles came for a visit.

All our lovely Blythes... I feel so lucky to be able to meet all these dolls!

10 March 2014: lineup of people wanting to buy hand-painted store signs from Honest Ed's. It was so bloody long, the line wrapped around an entire block and the morning people only got out late in the afternoon.

Canada Ayyappan temple line up, Tamil Canadians of Hindu faith on the first day of the temple opening. I just happen to drive by and took this pic with a blackberry in the middle of the hot and blazing day.

Part of the rather large collection of Trolleys and Buses at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine. This is a very cool place with ample photo ops.

Gas heaters looking like rogue robots, lined up outside a Chinese Restaurant in Adelaide's Chinatown. As they are really busy with Chinese New Year, they must have run out of space inside for these heaters that are so not required in the heat. Today's temperature is 34C.

Canada Place was NOT ready for the onslaught of three full cruise ships on this day. It was 2.5 hours from the time I took this photo (after we had been in line for a bit) until my photo taken from the gangway while boarding the ship.

The lineup on this section of the tarmac (tarred MacAdam) next to the runway is, I assume, for pilots and aircraft to participate in the airshow while the area (behind me) cordoned off in front of me. A couple of them were active right now, one is burning oil on the exhaust manifold and has a sporty trailing white tail trail. One thing in common among these planes is gutsy power plants had gutsy pilots. Some of the planes in the flyin were kit, self built and experimental aircraft. I can't ID these planes, except that the biplane may be a Pitts, but maybe I can get Ron to ID some of them. There was what looked to be a Lear jet out there. It probably didn't operate on the 100-LL fuel from the tanker truck servicing so many of the planes. Again, I benefited from the generous sky.

I got a notice about an upcoming airport fly in and show. I checked with Ron and he said it would be worthwhile. I got out there a bit late and so I was rather hurried. The airport approaches were a disaster of activity but I headed around the back intending to park at Ron's spot but had to settle for a space six cars over from the best access to the show. I was not dissatisfied! I could quickly walk over to the activity and was happy with my fortune.

I finally caught Ron when I was done and was glad to dodge the cleanup in the aftermath.

In the back ground is my version of Mixbrix's Tau Drone.

I figure if I put this line-up together it will give people some idea just how big certain frames are in relation to others in Mechaton.
