When I used to get the tube on a regular basis Leicester Square is where I got off and this is where this passageway is.

I stopped using the underground because it really is a dirty place and the walk is quite pleasant especially on a sunny day; however the underground is full of opportunities for photography.

So the other night I thought that I’d take a ride on the ‘Northern Line’ from ‘Leicester Square’ to ‘Kings Cross’ (it’s by no means a direct route), the tube is still busy at 21:00 so getting empty passageways proved to be a task itself…… I’m feeling a very early morning or a late night coming :-)

There she was... standing in the back windshield, twirling her little hula skirt as if to say, "HEY! I'm prettier than the car!" but her efforts were in vain... To those who clamored around the black beauty, all attention was devoted to the impeccable restoration, the polished chrome, and the original, spotless interior.

She was a beauty, for sure. To me, the hula girl served to add personality to an already attention-getting car! Not a scratch, not a dent. Just pure perfection.

It makes me wonder if my Honda Civic will be as awed after as this monster. No-? Probably not.

In late February 2019 I visited the Epping Ongar Railway's Green Line Running Day focussed on North Weald Station. A photographer's trip to Toot Hill was enjoyed by many and proved extremely popular. I also took a few shots at Epping Station.
