"I photographed skies out of focus, from moving cars, long lenses so you know the tones. I used these to create a sense of depth. You feel comfortable with these tones because they are real and you know them. I also changed the periphery of the shot. I found the exact moment when you or I stopped looking at it, stopped looking at the image, and then found the moment where it starts again to where it stopped again. Based on how your brain works on when you start and stop looking at something, I changed it, I added, gave you a tone, an object, a light, a fleeting moment.

I made you look further."

I discovered something about how our brains work. It's that when we’re sort of infused with either enthusiasm or awe or fondness or whatever, this changes and alters our perception of things. It changes what we see. It changes what we remember. What I discovered is, because of the nature of the images and the fact that I had based these images on emotions, there was an emotion that was built into it and our collective consciousness.

#TheAnonymousMan images are in part seen and shot using a DSLR digital camera. All elements are photographed individually with the main part of the image, the architecture, shots exactly how I want it to appear. I use Adobe Photoshop to combine and blend all the images.
