a pattern adapted from an amazing housecoat bought at a stall in a flea market in the south of France. The actual coat is a riot of intense colours and has a thick emerald green trim. I like to wear this coat when I'm immersed in daily domestic chores and imagine that the lady who once wore it was very old, slightly batty and as wrinkly as a prune from the Provençal sunshine.
This image started off life as a stencil but I thought it was too good an opportunity not to branch out and use a different medium to produce a better and more striking finished piece.

From my 'Playing with Geometry' solo show in September 2011, these prints are very limited edition, and won't be reprinted in the future.
These are three color letterpress prints, hand drawn by me, and lovingly hand fed, one by one, into a Chandler and Price press.
There are two options:
- print only: you will receive an 8 x 10 print mailed flat. ($25)
- print mounted on Plywerk base: you will receive an 8 x 10 print mounted on a Plywerk base (locally made here in Portland), with appropriate hanging orientation. ($40)
