The girls DO have other clothes with them, but haven't changed them. It has been a busy and fun time. We will be sad to be leaving...and will be catching up after we are home! Took too many pictures today, but can't decide what to post! ;D The wind has played havoc with the girls' hair the entire trip.

The design of Mariana Castillo Deball comprises a two-sided drawing informed by her research into pre-Columbian Mesoamerican codices as well as fables about the adventures and transformations of non-humans. Her related film based on the Borgia Codex, 'El Donde estoy va desapareciendo' (The where I am is vanishing), was produced for the 2011 Venice Biennale and was also shown as part of 'Amikejo', the exhibition series that Latitudes curated at MUSAC, León, the same year. Latitudes have also worked with Mariana in the context of the exhibitions 'Extraordinary Rendition' (2007) and 'Sequelism – Part 3' (2009).
Each bag has been hand silkscreened at Print Workers in Barcelona; this is an artisanal process and each printing results in slight variations.

The graphic featured on Haegue Yang’s bag is based on Eclectic Totemic – wallpaper created in collaboration with designers OK-RM (Oliver Knight and Rory McGrath) for her solo show at the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain, Strasbourg, in 2013. Developed through the surrealist principle of Exquisite Corpse, geometric composites were comprised of fragmentary portraits of individuals who have informed Haegue’s work. With the face of Romain Gary and the chin of George Orwell, this totem references two literary works in which elephants are symbols for an exploration of human morality – Orwell’s 1936 essay ‘Shooting an Elephant’ and Gary’s 1956 novel 'The Roots of Heaven'. Haegue formed a part of Latitudes’s exhibition 'Sequelism Part 3' (2009). Furthermore, Max Andrews of Latitudes has written on her work for catalogues including 'Symmetric Inequality', Sala Rekalde; 'Life on Mars 55th Carnegie International'; and 'Sense & Sustainability', Urdaibai Arte.

Detailed photos of my Designer Rapunzel and Flynn Doll Set. Boxed, with the slipcover and acrylic cover off. The dolls are attached to the cardboard backing and plastic supports as well as the build in doll stands.
I got the Rapunzel and Flynn doll set on release day, Tuesday October 3, 2017, during lunchtime at my local Disney Store. There were only 8 people entered into the raffle for 14 doll sets. At 1:10 pm they told us that they didn't have to call out names, so we just lined up at the registers in a random order. I happened to be the second in line. I was given three sets to choose from. I picked the first one. Even though one of the sets had a nice number (1133), the first set looked better to me. I took photos of the display dolls while waiting for the announcement. After I bought my dolls, I placed them on a table outside the store, and took a few photos of them. I forgot to take a photo of my CoA at the store, but my set is #4167 of 6000.
The set was released online in the US ShopDisney site at about 12:00 noon PST. As of 7:30 pm on Wednesday October 4, it is still available for purchase.

François I was the first renaissance king and also a passionate patron of the fine arts. His renaissance châteaux in Chambord and Fontainebleau are a memorial to this legendary king and powerful patron of art and culture. Renaissance patterns adorn the clip and the gold-coated rings. The nib is decorated with an engraving of the fleur-de-lis, the emblem of the French royal house.
