A touch of midweek lp was the order of the eve with my mate from school again and back to my favourite tunnel.
Been thinking about the intricacies of this one after last weeks set-up shot struck a chord. I knew there was more to be had from it and this is pretty much exactly what I'd imagined.
This is number 287 of my 365

I've had this idea for a while but I never had a light small and bright enough to fit in my mouth. I came up with the idea of firing my laser into my mouth whilst holding a chuff of vape in there.
Laser on, a mouthful of vape and fired the shutter. Pocketed the remote before putting my hands in my mouth. Lit from above with the beauty dish on 1/32. Lit from behind with another flashgun to illuminate the vape in the air for separation also on on 1/32 @ 24mm.
A fair bit of faffing in LR and a mono conversion in colour efex pro using the tone enhancer.

I heard the song Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley today and as I like it so much I decided to theme tonight's shot on it.
I was looking to capture the essence of the final touch of a last goodbye.
This was lit from above by a Yongnuo 560iv, gelled blue shot through my socked beauty dish. 1/8th power @24mm. Whilst from directly below a heavily snooted Yongnuo 560iv 1/64power @105mm.
Into LR for a 16/9 crop then faffed about with the B&W tone enhancer in Colour efex pro until happy.
If you haven't heard the work of Jeff Buckley I suggest you familiarise yourself with him immediately.
This is number 223 of my 366.

Another delve into Riley's toy box this evening and my favourite of his playthings. Fairylights on glittery twigs and a sizeable chuff of vape for the backdrop. Diffused torch to light the Shadow Knight.
This is number 334 of my 365.
Dunno where to start really. The thought began with me just spitting water out with the kettle in my ear. I then added the cup, the spoon, the bobble hat and the sunglasses and finished with the vapour from my ecig for the steam. The glasses are cool eye protection and the bobble hat makes it taste better.
I set my flashgun up on the stand and tried different variations of aperture, power, firing through my umbrella or bouncing off it. In the end I placed my small diffuser over the flash and bounced the light off the brolly directly above the camera. I had to fire the flash using my on camera flash as I ordered the wrong cable with my radio triggers so this was the only viable option. To eradicate the shadow under my chin and arm I placed my Led Lenser P7.2 inside my laundry basket which seemed to have done the trick. At some stage I will get another flashgun and the correct cable. I also intend to read the sh#t out of Lighting 101 as at the moment I fumble my way around until I get something I like the look of.
To start I focused on me and filled the cup with vapour from my electric cigarette next my mouth with water. Fired the shutter on 2 second delay which was enough time for me to grab the kettle and start squirting water into the cup and disturbing the vapour. Many, many tries later and here we are.
This was number 3 of my 365.
