A lovely bit of midweek LP this evening in my favourite tunnel. I met up with Leon this evening a lad who was the year above me at school and hadn't seen for ages. It was great to show him some of the techniques I use and just generally just catching up.
This is one of three I got in the bag but I struggle at this time of night to decide my fave.
Tested out exposure and tripod position for all of the elements and fired the shutter. +20 degrees pop of flash on 1/8 power, 115mm gelled ice blue followed by some net curtain. Rotated 180 degrees and repeated. Panned the camera around to a central position and cap on. Laser turned on and smoke pellet deployed. Cap off and let it burn in for 20 odd seconds. Turned the flash down to 1/128 and brought it closer to Leon for a bit of back lighting.
This is number 280 of my 365.
Roll on Friday for some more tunnel action.

The also ran from last nights tunnel collab with Chris T up int thills. This one took me ages to align (thanks Chris for your patience). In hindsight I should have done a mid exposure lens swap after exposing the pcb as I think exposing the tunnel/silhouette would have looked much better at 11mm on the Tokina. Hey ho. Great excuse to get back here again.
If Madonna had "4 minutes" to save the world, I had 6 hours and 19 minutes!! This is how my Friday ended for me!! How about yours? If you're viewing this via your "favorites" with only 1 or 5 pictures at the time, like I usually do myself, please note you'll be missing a lot as there are 15 pictures in this series. Go to my photostream, or my blog, where music is included and a few extras... :

Have a great weekend!!

Way back in March, Oakland was part of one of the first jurisdictions to impose a stay-at-home curfew. Tonight it resumed but statewide. One of the very few pluses is that I could safely stand in the middle of the block and take multiple photos from different perspectives. This one was the best of the lot.
