Don't you hate it when you feel absolutely terrible despite it being a relatively nice day??? So this was the wildest adventure I was up to: trying to find pretty light on a day when every time I thought I was going to get something, the sun went behind a giant cloud. Chasing soft light from one inconvenient window to the next... then experimenting with setting to capture it.
But when the light shines just right through this bottle, it is wonderful!

Tonight, we tried some light wheels and orbs up at Lyle's Shaft, Carnkie. We had to wait until the darkness encroached before we could play (this was our first light paint after the clocks went forward - always puts the noctographic community's noses out of joint).
Hence the bluer hue in the sky - and the cloud was remorseless, leaving no cloud trails, no moonlight to help us - and then a couple of cyclist whipped through mid shot - they didn't even spot us!
Light Grunge Textures created using previously unused textures and then ran through multiple contrast, brightness and hue/saturation filters to create textures that are easily used in layering.

I took this shot today at Pluscarden Priory, which is not far from our home. It was a cloudy dark day, but the sun shone for a moment through the windows long enough for me to capture this image.
The curve of the branch, matching the spread of the sunset, ideal.. and the poplar branches are full of buds. They don't know about February....

Created with an extended exposure using an LED colour changing unit and a glass candle base. This shot (as with all my light painting photos) is SOOC except for the border and signature.

Thanks to Jane in Colour for her help with getting hold of the LED colour changing unit and her encouragement.

SuRiSan - KwanMoBong -

The Revolver has become the most common handgun in the Metro, surprisingly over the pre-war Makarov pistols. This owes to three things: the simplicity of the design, the power of it's ammunition, and it's customization factor. The Revolver's design allows for production by most armories in the Metro, as well as reliability and ease-of-use favored by those residing underground. The power of the .44 Magnum cartridge also allows for devastating effects on both mutants and humans alike, even using inferior Metro-produced ammunition. Lastly, the Revolver can be customized from a silent assassination tool to a miniature sniper rifle, and is seen in use in all factions in many configurations.
