And, coincidentally, it's the last track on, what I hasten to add is, my wife's Bowie's Greatest Hits LP, so I drafted it in as my chosen cover for today's Flickr Group Roulette.
Long time viewers of this stream will remember that I did 'Life On Mars' last year. 'Life On Mars' is not on this LP.

There's an art show in Pittsburgh PA at the Carnegie Museum. Twist is in it among others. I couldn't resist peeling some stickers...KIDS rules, too!
The 1970s brutalist architecture of Stopford House, the council offices in Stockport.
It was used as the outside location for the police station in the BBC television series 'Life on Mars'.
Another place visited on the architecture walk in May, that I finally returned to photograph. Other places visited.

The first thing I thought of when I put the neclace on was Queen Elizabeth. Strange, but true. So I had to fiddle with it and pay homage to the style that inspired me. In kind of modern take on classic. :)

The series 4 case was still in a brown cardboard box labelled something like "Lego distribution center" when they fetched it from storage at the toy store. It contained:

Cette initiative résulte d’un premier appel à projet conjoint avec le CALQ lancé en juillet 2015 ayant suscité le dépôt de près de 25 projets, puis évalués par un jury de pairs.
Life on Mars ? de Frédéric Lavoie se veut un panorama de simulations de matières en mouvement, mettant en scène la potentialité de la vie sur la planète Mars à partir d’une sélection d’images prises par la NASA.

Both titles taken from David Bowie songs... Yes it's a weird shot with weird title, read further if you're curious:
Inside the club seen on the previous upload Bowies "Life on Mars" video plays on a big screen for a "crowd" of two... The sci-fi inspired Ziggy Stardust and the guy with the strange hairdo are observing each other, both whispering to themselves "Watch that man....!".
Arguably Bowies finest moment, give yourself a treat and see the video here!. The song is from 1971, while the video is an early attempt at rock video shot for promotional purposes when the song was released as a single in 1973. The iconic rock photographer Mick Rock was it's director and the cost was $350. Now if you read all this you must be a Bowie fanatic :-)
