Shot of a window reflection in Amsterdam. Taken with a Sony HX200V. No editing besides some fiddling with darkness and contrast, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
For some reason that I can't explain it does not rain anymore in Holland, a bad situation for any decent wicked Reflectah, but instead of panicking, or walking around with a big water-tank on my back, to spritz the corners of Sin City with to create some puddles for myself, I re-focused my eyes and lens on the manymany windows we have in Amsterdam. I think it's safe to say that there's a reasonable amount of wickedness found in these pictures, puddles or not, and I hope you like them enough to overcome the fact that the rain has gone...oh, wait, I'm the only one who likes rain and actually misses it, lol :D

Had to put something up other than pix of the new home! Still have some more photos to go through from the Agway run.
It's a bright, sunny late Summer's day here in Johannesburg! What beautiful things are you going to do today? I'm going to a trout farm for a picnic!

Unedited mobile phone cam shot of the 'Bulldog' Coffeeshop, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
You might have heard of the 'Bulldog' Coffeeshop, even if you have never been to the best city in the world, it's a Household brand in this wicked world, at least in certain circles...you can find them all over the planet, even though the ones in Amsterdam are probably those that are known the best :)
My personal opinion is that they are tourist-traps, like most of these shops, but if it rocks your boat, don't forget to pay them a visit when you're around, they need the money and I'm sure they have some nice T-shirts, Energy-drinks, Hotel rooms or other likable things that appeal to everybody, not just the smokey people :)
Almost weekend!

Week 1 - Faceless Portrait
I had done another photo but decided to change. The scene here is from early this morning as the icy rain hit the porch as I was curled up by the fire with my cat next to me under one of my afghans. I realized as I sipped my coffee with my unmanicured nails gripping my favorite mug that this scene was pretty much a portrait of me and so many things I enjoy even during this pandemic. Trying to embrace a bit of calm as I get ready to start the week. Hoping it is less chaotic than last week!
