Unedited shot of a biker in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Sony HX1. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
I totally love the Amsterdam buildings, they are so pretty and look really good (and not just) in my puddle pictures. One of the nice things about them is that I never get tired of admiring them, I often stop my bike somewhere in the street or on a bridge and just have a look around, breathing in the atmosphere, absorbing the beauty of my surroundings, enjoying the sights and sounds and then I am happy for myself that I am lucky enough to live in the best city in the world :)
My next photo exhibition at the ABC Treehouse, together with the lovely Miss Monyart, is going to start on February 5 and will go on until the end of the month, hope to see you there :)
I hope that this doesn't attract a bunch of foot fetish freaks but I love my purple toes that my niece Madison helped pick out. And I love being barefoot in the backyard. Yay for spring!

Enjoying the sun in the backyard.
I have been wanting to do this photo for his 52 weeks for a while as it represents so well what he likes to do when we get home in the evenings.
The boy knows the meaning of the word relax! I should have put sunglasses on him!
For the first time my 52 week photo made it to Explore # 236!

You look around and think
I'm in the right neighborhood
But, honey, you just moved in
Life is grand
And wouldn't you like

Go as planned"
“Denver - Wow! I need to hold on for this! Actually, this is a new attempt for a turtle whirlpool bath. The last time Deb and Dave took me down to the hot tub I somehow got lost! Okay, here we go – 1 toilet (cleaned) with fresh water, 1 inverted ice bucket with towel inserted, and 1 wiling ornate box turtle - FLUSH!”.
