Jamestown, RI this lighthouse was restored in 1898 from the original built in 1749☀️. Was in Newport for a wedding and it was also the weekend of the International Boat Show⛵️. You can see a sailboat near the lighthouse. #lifeisgood
This is a saying I came up with a long time ago. It's for those of us who have a fun sense of appreciation and gratitude. Life may not be perfect, but sometimes it's pretty darn good...

Today should be recognized for great inhumanity.
Today should be known as a day of injustice.
Today should be seen as a day of indecency.
Today should be known as a day of lies.
To celebrate this holiday...
everyone should go over to their neighbors house...
throw them out...
tell the world that they discovered it...
tear a family apart...
decimate them with disease...
enslave a few of the survivors...
destroy a way of life.
Then we'll teach school children how brilliant such behavior is...
And we'll give them all the day off of school...
to celebrate such a big 'error in navigation.'
Instead of celebrating psychotic behavior today...
We should celebrate the truth.
That's my plan.
Let the reality of this day set your soul free!
Be freed from the lies, the inhumanity and the injustice!
Modern psychiatrists say that Christoper Columbus probably suffered from untreated schizophrenia.
To anyone who has ever had to deal with the inhumanity, indecency and lies of another with an untreated mental illness...
my heart goes out to you.
Happy Columbus Day!
