"The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me continual spiritual exercises."

~Leo Buscaglia

We can express our spirituality in many different ways and in many differeny places and times. We don't have to wait until we are at a place of formal worship to exercise our spirituality. Every moment that we are alive and aware is an opportunity to acknowledge and express our connection to other people and to the world.

Be open to the experiences with other people and with nature today. Recognize the miracle of Life and your place in it....

I wanted to thank everyone who left such WONDERFUL comments on my last photograph. I was amazed at how much support I got! I am so blessed to have so many awesome friends here on Flickr. You're the BEST!

Frank SInatra was an accomplished artist. In front of me is a partial view of one of his canvases done in oil......his signature in the bottom right. Reflections in the mirror.....a fun day in Palm Springs. Trying out Frank's chair.

Tangier is a town in Accomack County, Virginia on Tangier Island in the Chesapeake Bay accessible only by boat or plane. Most residents are watermen harvesting crabs and oysters from the Bay and the island is well known for its seafood, especially soft-shell crab sandwiches. The island was settled in the 1770's and today many people who live on Tangier speak a distinctive dialect derived from British English. Print Size 13x19 inches.

I remember this day vividly...my son and I helped my wife set up for the Ho'olaule'a and then my son and I walked the beach enjoying the sunset. Life is simple, beautiful, and fulfilling...just how I like it.

So, Dusty is soaking wet, with a toy, standing on top of an impossibly high mountain of gravel in the middle of a national forest. I'm pretty sure I'll be ignoring any complaints he has for the foreseeable future.

Remake of a classic AmsterS@m shot, I just couldn't resist, sorry! Here's the original shot from last year :))

I've submitted this picture to 'Wired' magazine online for a self-portrait contest and it was voted one of the 10 best photos by the readers, yay :)

See it here!

Unedited shot of a puddle reflection in Amsterdam. Taken with my Sony HX200V. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)

It's that time of the year again, every 30 minutes Amsterdam gets soaked with rain, then the sun will come out, then it'll rain again, and then the light will bathe the city in its warming rays of light again, a beautiful cycle that allows me to take those wicked reflection pictures of the best city in the world...and yes, I am painfully aware of the fact that I am the only person on the whole continent who loves and appreciates this kind of crappy weather, lol :D

I've also made a wicked reflection movie of this puddle, please take the time to watch it on my YouTube channel, thank you :)
