There's a family here who live on the main highway. Their lawn is strewn with fishing nets and boat equipment.
On the weekends, they open up the shed, right on the highway. And they sell the salmon they line catch, up in Neah Bay. Out of coolers. $10 a pound.
This is some of the best salmon we have ever eaten.

Lake McDonald, Glacier National Park
I sat at this location for a good hour. Relaxing, taking pictures as the light changed. Mostly enjoying the scenes around me. It was a long drive to get there, but sitting in places like this make it worth every mile. And I get picture to take home and share with you guys.

I'm sorry Pep and I had been away for so long. I tried checking in every now and then to at least fave some of your photos. Anywho, here's the long story of what's going on....
One of the side effect of having radiation done is that it could effect the organs near the area is being treated. Like my esophagus.
I've been having a lot of pain in my esophagus lately. Even with prescription medications has not helped. At first the Dr thought the radiation treatments to the sternum had irritated the esophagus. The pain comes and goes. This last radiation treatments has really pissed off my esophagus. The pain has gotten so bad I can't eat or drink. I force myself to eat and drink but in very small portions.
I went in to see the GI and have a camera shoved down my throat. I was put under anesthesia of course.
My pain level is extreme. The last round of radiation has (in words they don't like to use) burned my esophagus ( a known side effect) it has left me in extreme pain and the inability to eat anything thicker then water (water hurts as well) this for some weeks now. I had a camera sent down my throat and biopsies done, so far the word is Severe Esophagitis (Most likely from radiation) but biopsies are being tested to rule out fungal infection. Wish it was the infection that they can cure, radiation burn treatment is pain meds of an assortment and ride it out till the body heals.
This picture was taken Jan. 30, 2026. Two day before I went to the GI. In pain but needed to get out of the house. My poor Pep starting to look a bit shaggy, I hadn't felt up to grooming him. Pep and I miss you all and hope you all are doing well.

Every moment that we are alive and aware is an opportunity to acknowledge and express our connection to other people and to the world.
Be open to the experiences with other people and with nature today. Recognize the miracle of Life and your place in it....
