I created this card for the same but different challenge. It was a lot of fun, to put this little scene together.

Unedited shot of a puddle reflection in Amsterdam. Taken with my Sony HX400V. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
The other day I was strolling through the narrow streets of good old Amsterdam after a rainy morning, and I was very lucky to find myself a nice puddle for shooting some wicked reflection pictures of the best city in the world, still one of my favorite things to do in the whole wide world, and it was also a good opportunity to break in my camera, the fabulous and Sony HX400V...I'm very happy with the results, and already madly in love with my new toy :)
I've also made a wicked reflection movie of this puddle, please take the time to watch it on my YouTube channel, thank you :)

It's that time of the year again, every 30 minutes Amsterdam gets soaked with rain, then the sun will come out, then it'll rain again, and then the light will bathe the city in its warming rays of light again, a beautiful cycle that allows me to take those wicked reflection pictures of the best city in the world...and yes, I am painfully aware of the fact that I am the only person on the whole continent who loves and appreciates this kind of crappy weather, lol :D

"One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Wilhelm Meister's Apprenticeship
Yesterday I enjoyed the afternoon with a dear friend of 39 years. Life is good!
It seems that the quality of Graffiti gets lower the further you're away from Amsterd@m...poor country side B-Boys&Girls, having to look at shitty graffiti like this ;-P

Celebrating El Paso, by Mark Paulda
"Upon retiring from a successful career in the special event industry Mark Paulda turned to photography as a creative outlet. With noted London mentors, Kobi Israel and Rupert Truman, Paulda learned the rules and, more importantly, how to break them. From "straight photography" to more creative, innovative work the camera is never far from the photographer's side, and he has learned to view the world around him in a new way. In Celebrating El Paso, Paulda turns his eye to documenting the unique bi-cultural heritage that is El Paso. From time-lapsed evocations of traffic at twilight to explorations of the majesty of the mountains ringing the city, the photographer celebrates the city that occupies a unique vantage point---on the border of two countries, three states, a military installation, and an Indian reservation.
MARK PAULDA was a semi-finalist for Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year; a finalist for landscape at the Venice International Photo Awards; and he received third prize in the Prix de la Photographie Paris. His photographs are permanently exhibited at the Hal Marcus Gallery and have been exhibited at the El Paso Museum of Art, the Dallas Arboretum, at the 2008 International Exhibition of Fine Art Photography at the Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, as well as numerous venues across the world."
