This leads to the poolside cafe and then on to the ponds that you see in my other shots. The potted Rhododendrons have purple flowers with creamy variegated leaves and they flower Fall/Winter....sometimes early Spring.

You can go right up and feed the giraffes at the Indianapolis Zoo. These are one of my absolute favorites.
My girls (18 yo and 21 yo) visited the Indianapolis Zoo in July 2008. We spent hours together and had a great time. It was so much fun - especially spending time with my girls.

This is from the book of Ecclesiastes, a book that really didn't always make a lot of sense to me as a child! But as my mind has grown and as I experience more of the tears and joys of life, I find it holds so much truth about the purpose of life's many seasons, changes, and "times".
This is the first picture I've posted on this page in almost three years. Life takes many turns, calendars fill, new vocations are taken, families grow, and relationships change over a three year period... but you know what? One thing I know never changes. I know a God who doesn't change like the shifting shadows that every earthly joy or sorrow is.
Life is beautiful. Yes, it's beautiful because I know the One who made it. The one who delights in it (Read Genesis: He called it "good"!), and who continues to orchestrate the world in the joyful, the hectic, and even the seemingly insignificant hours of life.
My life is beautiful because of my God.
