Gracie my Fimo sculpted dragon, named after the firey singer Grace Jones, has a song title fight with an overconfident Dragonslayer.
Shot on my benchtop with one single desklamp as lighting with a couple of lens flares thrown in and a difference cloud filter done in PS, as is the falling sword. The background is a sheet of leather. I was quite particular about getting the shadows on the wall reasonably crisp.
Although the dragon was sculpted by me the knight and horse are 4D Master puzzle figurines which come apart and can be put back together. I think Gracie's about to test that.....!
I've collected a few of these exceptionally well detailed pieces and I can see they're going to come in handy.
I had a few titles kicking around in my head for this one, things like "death from above" or "the empires finest meets the empires thickest".
Turns out that Emperor Palpatine wanted to send someone to make sure the boys stationed here were still doing their jobs. Not sure who is in for it the worst, them, him or me...

It took a fair bit of effort on the boys part but after I made mention that I had a little collection of ships models, they just had to find them.
ST-117 is well, blunt with what he says sometimes shall we say?
I was not satisfied with this, and it lacked a proper mini figure - but then I discovered the Puppet Master minifig at a toy show, and put the final photo together that evening.
They just couldn't help themselves when the cheap alcohol came out....
Excuse the quality, this was taken with my very inexpensive point and shoot (the next days is as well). They get better, trust me haha. Ignore the dates on this one and the next one too, didn't realise until I got home that the date in the camera was a day ahead >.<

I snapped this one amongst the geraniums in the backyard. Hardy plants really, especially given their relative structural fragility, but they really thrive on recycled water. At the moment they're getting plenty of rainwater though. Mr Stark thrives on water too, at least since, y'know, he went on the wagon.
Germanium Diodes, as opposed to Geranium ones, by the way are diodes that use a crystal pellet of germanium to 'rectify' an alternating current into being unidirectional.
Germanium diodes are an old staple of amateur radio and are also, incidentally, much better for detecting, say, German radio signals. Tony Stark, of course, would normally use much more sophisticated gear but in this case is resorting to field expedients.

Feeling somewhat dejected after the rest of the stormies reaction to his new present and his actions with it, ST-117 didn't want anything to do with anyone else.
He spent the entire night in the corner waving his lightsaber around and cutting pieces of fruit with it. Almost felt sorry for the poor fellow.

12.25.2010 - MJ got a kids 'juke-pod gizmo' for xmas - dance-a-thon commenced. MJ's great-grand-mother (meemaw) kept on about how jealous she was of MJ's energy and "how I kaint do that!" MJ taught her how to dance a proper high-energy "I'm a Barbie girl" while sitting. MJ will "work her out" over time to get her into full dance-a-thon shape.
