Actually it's not so easy for wildlife but anyone who decides to live in my garden has a much easier day to day way of life. This chipmunk spent his lazy summer days in the coolness of my fern last year. He would roll and cover himself with the cool damp soil and then rest. It was a good life.
All life is inherently broken from the start, Percival. Take solace in that. There is no perfection in life. Otherwise, what would be the purpose of death? It's to try to find ways to better yourself before the end that gives us purpose. You are all broken, but also understand - mortals can achieve great things.

The latest repair I've had saved the life of my mainstay laptop! It was to replace the vital port that charges the laptop's battery. I saved the broken part as it looked so small and innocent, but completely destroyed the ability of the laptop to function! I hope that this counts as a repair …
