Well, it actually is about the joy of being alive. I met this lady, known to me for a longer time, in the pharmacy and we talked about what makes us positive in getting old: moving and being physical, of course, but also being curious and interested in life. My camera (Fuji X100F) was set to 'automatic' and I was, as you can guess, shooting from the hip. And I was not patient enough, as this camera needs a bit of time to focus - hence the blurriness. But I caught her smile. What is the word used by our profit-hungry advertisers? "Priceless".

Life comes at us whether we are prepared or not and sometimes teaches us if we take the time to lisson. In this case an Autumn leaf is both the same as most Maple Leaves as it goes through its inexorable seasonal change. And, at the same time it is different and somewhat unique with respect to the way it is changing.

There is a life lesson here I thought, so take the time to listen said that little voice in my head. We all try to express ourselves as individuals to be noticed and at the same time most do not want to be on the fringe and too different. Life and a big lesson is delivered to my feet in a small way.

All the employees in my department were given a "Fill Your Cup" day to spend doing whatever activity that brings us joy. Not surprisingly, I spent the entire day practicing still life photography. Vegetables seem to be a classic subject for still life photography, so I ran with it.

this set was inspired by all things repurposed and upcycled ♥ 14 commons & 2 rares to collect!

items range between 1-4 li with most being on the lower end. the recycled window cabin is 40 li with lights and 35 li without (they're unlinkable). the porch/stairs are unlinkable too.

all lights are scripted on touch - including the bulbs in the rare portable vanity, all picture frame insets & photos can be replaced with your own textures, and the stools & crate seats are animated.
