The second generation Lexus IS (model XE20) was introduced for the 2006 model year the slow selling SportCross was dropped from the range leaving only Saloon.
The linee up was refreshed in 2009 saw the arrival of the 250C a hardtop convertible which made its debut at the 2008 Paris Motorshow. A more powerful 350C also became available. All second generation IS received a much more luxurious interior featuring memory leather seats, LED interior lighting accents, faux metalic or wood trim, keyless entry, push button start. The revision also saw slight styling changes
