Lundi 1 juin 2015 – Je décrypte, un fleuve, des nuages gris, une plaine dégagée, un panneau, un poteau électrique… Je traduis… le fleuve … la vie de mon Entreprise depuis 15 ans pas tranquille du tout, les nuages gris en permanence au dessus de nos têtes, la plaine … c’est pour les dettes (apuré d’un coup d’un seul…table rase, et hop… rien que cela), cédez le passage … le temps d’arrêt au tribunal… et enfin le poteau électrique, la tension palpable en ce moment dans les couloirs, et les conversations…

I had this apartment, the sealed-off familyroom of a house with its own front and back doors plus a kitchenette, while I was in college that wasn't a whole lot to speak of. A flat with a woodstove, basically. And under my "livingroom" window there was a couch (with hide-a-bed which could tell some fascinating tales) which I'd spend a lot of time sitting on -- sometimes facing into the room and watching my three goldfish while an easy listening station played on the radio, sometimes on my knees facing out the window into the overgrown back lawn and suburban streets past the grass behind the house. I spent hours by the window. The last time I drove past that house a few years ago, there was a 7' high chainlink fence and a total mess in the backyard.

Yes, that's my kittyboy Cheddar, who spends hours by the windows because that is what cats are supposed to do. This song is one I played frequently while I was sitting on that couch (along with "Eyes Waterfalling" and "Kouyate") during the phase where I was listening to Level 42 cassettes pretty much nonstop.
