SANFORD, Fla. - Headquarters Headquarters Company, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), conducted Soldier Readiness Program Level II May 5-7, 2017, at the Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cash U.S. Army Reserve Center in Sanford, Fla. The SRP evaluated the medical and administrative readiness for more than 300 Soldiers as they physically, mentally and spiritually prepare themselves for an up coming deployment. Stations included a dental exam, legal review and counseling session with a Chaplain.

50 km of that was in Maui, which was soooooo visually needed. I just needed to see a road that I have not seen 10,000 times before. And weird birds. And insects. It was welcome.

The high-level Lab Endorsement Meeting convened Lab Principals and Advisors to launch high-quality, catalytic Lab Instruments by endorsing the final designs of these six instruments. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Endorsement signals that the Lab instruments are ready to be introduced into the market as official Lab investment vehicles. Lab Members will also have the opportunity to offer support, feedback, and expressions of interest.
The meeting also included a strategic session to draw on the high-level expertise of Lab Principals to gather input on the future direction of the Lab programs in the medium and longer term. The Lab Secretariat presented a new strategy for managing Lab growth, which will set the stage for the Lab in 2020 and beyond.
While in the Machu Picchu area we climbed to the top of Machu Picchu Mountain at an elevation of 3061 meters on its peak. From there, along with about a dozen other disappointed folks, we waited for what was supposed to have been a fabulous view of the Machu Picchu ruins below. However, having stayed on the top of the mountain for over an hour waiting for the clouds to part, it wasn’t to be. Finally as we hiked down the mountain the view became clearer. The next day we visited the ruins under sunny skies. This photograph was taken along that hike.
Fourteen mayors across Indonesia signed the Charter of the Network of Indonesian Mayors for Inclusive Cities in Indonesia during the UN-sponsored High-Level Meeting of Mayors for Inclusive Cities, held in Jakarta on 31 October 2017. The signing was witnessed by the Minister of National Planning Development (Bappenas), HE. Prof. Dr. Bambang P.S Brodjonegoro and the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Indonesia, Anita Nirody.
The Charter was aimed to respect and support the involvement and participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life across cities in the country. The Charter was signed by Mayors from South Tangerang, Padang, Banjarmasin, Mojokerto, Ambon, Bengkulu, Surakarta, Kupang, Jambi, Central Jakarta, Metro Lampung, Banda Aceh, Yogyakarta dan Depansar.

Second quest Levels 2 and 3. Pretty easy levels, unlike the ridiculous later second quest maze levels. Level 2 features the first wall in the game you can't bomb but have to push through. Totally unexpected since you don't ever do that during the first quest.

A 24 metre natural mound in the Somerset Levels, UK. Probably used as a Norman motte with a terraced track spiralling around the hill. A 15th century church was used by Royalist troops during the English Civil War. Rebuilding of the church started in 1793, but due to shortage of money was abandoned, leaving the ruins we see today. If sea levels rise, the mump could once again become a refuge: the surrounding drained Levels are up to 6 metres below the high tide in the neighbouring Bristol Channel. Both the words "burrow" and "mump" mean hill, so it must have made a big impression on the locals!
