This is my first shot at lettering. The text "Amazing Grace" was done by "hand" using Adobe Illustrator. The rest of the design was done in Photoshop.
Goal: Concept artwork for 2012 Easter services
Audience: Everyone in the church and the nearby community
Direction: Simple Easter. No big show or production, no fancy gimmicks. Just the simple message that It is by God's grace that we have forgiveness of our sins by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Project: Advertising materials (flyers, web graphics, service graphics, etc.)
Mi Amor lettering made into a heart shaped tattoo design including stardust, musical notes and cross charm.

This is my Gothic S signature that you may have seen on my previous artwork. This was used to create a letterpress effect. This is a popular effect to make the surface look as if the letter S was pressed into the red surface material. The cool part about this is that I can use the alpha channel to also include the ink pools created by the authentic calligraphy pen. And you can see this subtle effect at the bottom of the S and end of the pen strokes. This can not be done with a traditional font. "Leathercraft" Trying to design some old skool "sign" kind of lettering for one of my leather tool boxes.. not sure if I´m going to use it, but it is very relaxing to draw.. :-)
Jugendstil lettering similar to Eckmann-Schrift. Such more conventional forms for T and H were included as alternates.
