I recently counted over 100 sample PhotoSpills collages that we've posted on social media. This collage celebrates that milestone. Actually, this collage is made of collages that were made of other collages. Kind of goofy, but you can use the same technique to create your own unique works of art.

When completing typography designs, I was able to use my Rotoring set to create some concepts using my layout pad. I used a basic structure for the letter 'A' then added details such as curves, lines, triangles and circles to create unique lettering styles as pieces of artwork. These are currently within my portfolio as concepts and will be digitally created as pieces of artwork for an exhibition that will be held in Hugh Baird College in March.

Vintage hand lettered sign (late 1950s - early 1960s) given as a wedding gift. Tempera & ink on illustration board.

Beautiful brush lettering with smaller letters drawn with a Speedball.

For miles along the California coast this anti-littering sign was altered by a dedicated monkey-wrencher. My estimate is that as many as 25 signs, spanning as many miles, were meticulously altered with 3 small pieces of black tape. I wish I could congratulate the perpetrator!
