One of a series of greeting card designs I did for American Greetings using Zapfino as a starting point. I had to alter the type a lot to make these work.
More bouncy Uncial. This is my version of a line of text from Carl's handouts.
This was done with a 3/8" Horizon folded pen and walnut ink.
These folks threatened to call the cops on me, demanding a minor detail be repainted. Don't ever go here.
If i had been treated with respect as an artist, I might have respected the proportion and leveling of the paint job, as you can see we have some spacing issues and major discrepancies in font/lettering size.
Treat your artists with respect!
Morning pages journal made from a standard composition journal. The cover was decorated by gluing on small pieces of blue and green paper then rolled over with a brayer loaded with white paint.

Dreifaltigkeit cemetery (II) administration opening hours. This sign was heavily stained and lichened. This was the best editing I could do to show the lettering.
Much defaced rectangular stone; a row of palmettes along the top, below a line of painted lettering largely unreadable; outline ? cross in centre; unreadable gothic lettering near the bottom.
