Lettering realizzato per il festival SUPERFICIE (Rocca Malatestiana, Cesena) utilizzando una versione in legno del FREGIO MECANO, carattere componibile realizzato dalla Società NEBIOLO - Torino. Foto della forma con le lettere SUPERFC e risultato.

Lettering basado en la frase de una polera que vi hace tiempo no me acuerdo a quién, donde, ni bajo que circunstancia, pretendo que el Pancho Muñoz me la imprima.

Me inspiré en el trabajo de Lasko y en la caligrafía de Mauricio Amster para el libro Coplas del año '70.

No me convencen la curva de la h y las s, la t está aún media insípida, creo que la diagonal inferior de la k creo que habría que disminuir un poco el tamaño.

Metodo: el mimo anterior, caligrafía manual, marcador biselado pequeño en bocetera, armado en Illustrator, retoques y montado en Photoshop para subirlo a flickr.

K-28 #477 steams past a group of Aspen trees, southbound to Durango with The Silverton Mixed.

This photograph was captured during a photo shoot on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, organised by Trains Magazine. K-28 2-8-2 #473 had been re-numbered for the event to portray #477 with Rio Grande ‘speed lettering’ while working on the D&RGW.

Dry transfer lettering

Found these in the local Post-Office, been there done that - anyone else used to have to copy and paste - with paste? anyone else have to set type with letraset (the prefered dry transfer of choice I think - i've got some somewhere

or even better - anyone have to use dry transfer letratone? sheets of lines or dots - ah this was one of the advantages of having an uncle who worked at the Telegraph's graphic illustration department and a dad who's a draftsman

Nice lettering in the Palacio de Bellas Artes, apparently based on some architectural lettering that I only got very blurry pix of.

This is from the same graveyard that Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, Mother Goose and John Hancock were laid to rest. I can only hope the lettering on my gravestone is as beautiful.
