After days of wet and grey we had a cold but sunny morning, perfect for a beach trip where the dogs can run and stay clean!

The theme for SOS is "Let It Glow", Olive & Evie and a sunlit beach helped me immensely lol. The whole wet beach glowed in the the morning sunlight.

This was the first time I'd taken Olive to the beach (due to the weather!) and she loved it, first time together in the car too and not a peep, very impressed. Olive did bring her breakfast up, but ate it again, so all good lol.

Nach zwei erfolglosen Anläufen am Sonntag und Montag hatte ich den heiß ersehnten Nebel endlich vor der Kamera; wenn auch nur für eine knappe halbe bildwirksame Stunde.

Zum fotografieren bin ich da oft am frühen Morgen, mit unterschiedlichen Themenansätzen :-))

Smile on Saturday's theme is "Let it Glow" this week and because I wasn't able to get out to take photos I searched for something I'd taken earlier but not posted on Flickr.

This Bird of Paradise shows mainly the upright orange petals but to my mind, no flower seems to grab the sun the way Bird of Paradise does; so I always take WAY too many photos of them.

China-Light-Festival mit Lichtspektakel im Kölner Zoo. Zu sehen gibt es von 17:30 bis 21 Uhr zahlreiche Lichtinstallationen. Der Frosch scheint immer noch auf ein Mädel zu warten, dass er küssen kann.
