My granddaughter Tara is the best splash maker I have ever seen. It is impossible for me to shoot her without many drops ans splashes around her.

Located in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, the Norfolk Scope is based on Il Palazzo Dello Sport in Rome. On the same plaza is Chrysler Hall, a performing arts venue and home to the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Bwetween the two is a plaza featuring a fountain pool.
The theme this week is 'Let it flow'. Photo must include a liquid in motion. Evie helped me here, she loves splashing about in water and there is lots of movement here, beard drips, ears drips and a big splash :)
I no longer drink coffee but still love the set of Hostens Koffies cups we were given years ago by one of Clive's relatives in Belgium that used to work for the Hostens company. I set up this shot especially for Smile on Saturday's 'let it flow' theme, then realised it is also perfect for

SUBJECT: A METAL WATER FOUNTAIN ON A WINDY DAY
Happy Friday, Everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by!
I tried to take one shot for two groups: found lavenderish perfume bottle for Smile on Saturday’s theme and realized hmmmm liquid. So took a gazillion shots moving and shaking the bottle. The shot I liked was then turned upside down for more confusion.
A creative 'wine' fountain seen on the wall of a garden ( in France , of course !) .

In 1912, $10,000 for the fountains was donated to the City of Portland by lumber baron, Simon Benson, in hopes that it would keep his lumberjacks out of the saloons. Not sure if it worked for that purpose, but the citizens of and visitors to Portland have enjoyed them for over 100 years.
I don't repost often old shots, but tonight this is perfect to mean what I feel - shot and quote and music too ... so, please, don't mind - I feel blue - but a good kind of blue! - and curry, yes, more curry than blue! - and I feel lucky :-)
