"Smile on Saturday" theme "Let it Flow!"

The flow closely follows the lines of Cedra, a water sculpture created by William Pye to occupy the space left by a felled cedar tree in Woolbeding Gardens. Occasionally a few drops fall into the air.....

Smile on Saturday! :-) let it flow!

A little experiment with milk, which I will certainly repeat again. Then with a more sophisticated technical structure and a little more time – not so easy ;-) The glass is actually tipped over by pouring and the whole milk has spilled in the garden. The experiment ended abruptly ...

For the Smile on Saturday challenge "let it flow!"

Living close to the coast, there was one place to go - the sea! It gave me a chance to get up close with the rocky bays and catch the ebb and flow of the tides. The sea wasn't stormy and turbulent, but there is the ever-changing breaking of the waves against the rocks, and the play of light on the water and the spray ;o)

HSoS!! and a great weekend to all ;o)

Yesterday I bought fresh grapes at the weekly market. This morning, I was looking forward to a healthy Saturday breakfast and washed the grapes. Just when I wanted to eat the first grape, I thought - stop -! That may be something for HSoS theme - let it flow -. So I picked up my tripod and the remote, took the focus and the settings of the camera and go, let it flow :-)

Hope ya like it

"smile on saturday" and "let it flow!"!

Feliz sabado!

"That buzzing noise means something. Now, the only reason for making a buzzing noise that I know of is because you are... a bee! And the only reason for being a bee is to make honey. And the only reason for making honey is so I can eat it," – Winnie the Pooh

The theme for "Looking Close on Friday" the 5th of September is "let it flow!",so a picture of a flowing liquid. The day I read the new theme, it was a sunny morning, and I immediately knew what flowing liquid I wanted to photograph. Whilst it is true that jam is my favourite topping for toast, I am not at all adverse to having honey. Thus I have a few jars in my pantry, and this jar of Parrot Bush honey, whilst slightly crystalised, was runny enough to constitute a flowing liquid. The good thing about honey is that it is not that swiftly flowing a liquid, which is good for me, as I am not the fastest photographer in the world! I stood the jar in a pool of bright morning sunshine on my draining board in my kitchen, where they honey was transformed into a glorious coppery red gold colour. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most effective. I hope you like my choice for the theme this week, and that it makes you smile!

Happy Smile on Saturday...

Macro curious? The in-focus portion of this small ewer's spout is about 1.5 inches across, so the total width of this scene would be about 3 inches.

Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you

Wow, never thought that liquid in motion would be a difficult task. Part of the flow was in focus so after a couple of sessions this was best with this lens and lighting.

This was a second choice on another group I'm in. The flow is cream on a peach. Thanks for the invitation. Was playing with a new program, Gimp.

listen the The Coffee Song

Way down among Brazilians

Coffee beans grow by the billions

So they've got to find those extra cups to fill

They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil

You can't get cherry soda

'cause they've got to fill that quota

And the way things are I'll bet they never will

They've got a zillion tons of coffee in Brazil

No tea or tomato juice

You'll see no potato juice

'cause the planters down in Santos all say "No, no, no"

The politician's daughter

Was accused of drinkin' water

And was fined a great big fifty dollar bill

They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil

You date a girl and find out later

She smells just like a percolator

Her perfume was made right on the grill

Why, they could percolate the ocean in Brazil

And when their ham and eggs need savor

Coffee ketchup gives 'em flavor

Coffee pickles way outsell the dill

Why, they put coffee in the coffee in Brazil

No tea, no tomato juice

You'll see no potato juice

The planters down in Santos all say "No, no, no"

So you'll add to the local color

Serving coffee with a cruller

Dunkin' doesn't take a lot of skill

They've got an awful lot of coffee

An awful lot of coffee

Man, they got a gang of coffee in Brazil!!
