This photo was taken in shadow, but I liked how it came out! I tried lightening it, but it lost the 'feel' to it!

On a solitary dog-walk one winter afternoon...I saw this guy playing hoops with a tennis ball...the shadows were perfect...BUT NO CAMERA...I literally RAN HOME (with dog in tow) grabbed my camera and although he was still there...the perfect(?) shadow shots...were missed by a few minutes...CARRY YOUR CAMERA WITH YOU!...

although i used moving subjects instead of a stationary subject i followed the rest of lesson as best i could, while also trying to keep lesson 3 and 4 in mind, quite the challenge..lol trying to unlearn old bad habits. definately can see the difference using lens in mid range, i have often sacrificed the sharp image i have desired trying to bring the image in as close as possible.
