This photo was taken in shadow, but I liked how it came out! I tried lightening it, but it lost the 'feel' to it!
Cropped right in to highlight the insect!
TFL!

The lesson started off with a brief history of criccieth from our welsh tutor karen.
We were then treated to a rendition of the national anthem and then onto useful phrases such as hello, good morning and where is...? Some phrases for on camp for leaders and scouts to use. The scouts enjoyed learning how to say im the only gay in the village! Karen read an extract from sam tan (fireman sam) in welsh. The lesson ended with peoples names translated into welsh and then the scouts all said a welsh thank you (diolch yn fawr)
This afternoon we are off to criccieth castle.
Only my second real quilt (real = binding). Apparently 1/4" seam is NOT standard for binding. Soooo, I get to rip out all the hand sewing, move the seam in a bit, and do it all. over. All 24 feet. At least I don't have to rip out the side of the binding that was machine sewn, and it allows me to sit and watch TV guilt-free. And I'm not working on any kind of deadline. It's just a lesson learned.
