"Lessons from Tragedy: A Conversation on School Safety and Preparedness" was held March 1, 2017, and featured the retired principal of Columbine High School and a survivor of the Virginia Tech shooting who then created a national support foundation.
Frank DeAngelis, a national-level speaker for Safe and Sound Schools, and Kristina Anderson, founder of the Koshka Foundation for Safe Schools and one of the most critically injured survivors from the 2007 Virginia Tech tragedy, are pictured here with Professor Jaclyn Schildkraut, who organized the presentation.
The lecture was sponsored by the Cutler Public Justice Fund, endowed by David Cutler '74.

Ma première leçon pour photographier en "manuel", et pas une mince affaire !!! Denis a su m'expliquer patiemment quelques réglages... lol Jusque là, j'étais partisante de "l'automatique", et surtout sans retouches ! J'ai beaucoup appris ce jour là, et bien contente ! Je peux enfin retranscrire en photo une image telle que je la perçois !!! C'est tout ce qui m'intéresse en photo... Du coup, ce week-end là, j'ai mitraillé !!! :)
The first lesson in the Simplicity Photography Class is to position an object in front of a light source and photograph it from three different angles.
This was a difficult experiment for me to execute since the kiddos kept coming over and knocking the house off the stool or playing with it. Notice Elias and Noah in the background on angles 1 and 2.
