Tim gave me my first lesson. Take a look at some of the 'progress'.
Five chords under my belt, and some progressions. All in one lesson. Still don't know how to strum or finger-pick, do barre chords, or even the power chords.
And I still sound like a wounded elephant.
But I'm kinda a proud wounded elephant right now.
Now I have to pick the first song to learn.
My first instinct was to learn Whole Wide World, by Wreckless Eric, for a few different reasons, mostly personal...I'm not sure how many still apply...a lot has happened over the last few months.
So, here's the short list:
-- Regret, New Order
-- Laid, James
-- Left of the Dial, The Replacements
-- Whole Wide World, Wreckless Eric
-- I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, U2
-- Weak in the Presence of Beauty, Floy Joy
-- Whisper to a Scream, Icicle Works
-- Sussudio, Phil Collins (ok, just kidding)
Some of these have been with me a long, long time. Some of them aren't even meant for guitar. Each one is deeply important to me. But that's just the way music is.
I gotta pick one, and stick to it till something that doesn't sound like a wounded elephant comes out the other side.
Any suggestions?

As a professional chinese school for kids, Sinobus' Chinese lessons for toddlers is truly from the perspective of children, re-interpreting Chinese textbooks, and designing the teaching mode individually.Language learning is a long process, and it is not uncommon for children to be afraid of difficulties and unsustainable enthusiasm for learning. Learning is practicing, practicing is playing, and playing is learning. Once you have learned it, you can use it, and you will have a sense of accomplishment when you use it.

Today I've been reminded of a valuable lesson I'd forgotten. Take a safety shot.
I had a planned photograph for today. It got cancelled and I was left without a picture. I sat and scratched my head. I discarded the idea of a picture of me holding the letter from Bass Pro I received today. It told me I was in the top 10% of its retail store customers. I think we may need to cut down on our visits to Bass Pro. It was too late for another picture of the me doing my coursework, or sitting in class tonight, and the school run is long done. I could have re-enacted putting air in the van's tire, but it's cold and cramped for space in the garage.
So I closed my eyes and tried to think of a suitable picture to illustrate my day.

First drawing lesson on drawing from observation . Students were asked to draw a pair of scissors from memory, and then draw one from observation (looking at a real pair of scissors, not a photo). This is from the 2nd week of a beginning art class in high school.
The prompt for lesson 6 is layers - I have tried to layer these images and the borders. Also layered a transparency over both postage stamps. Used Ranger paint dabbers for the base background (hazelnut and mushroom).
I took this pic I think because what was on the board... but I can only barely make it out. Pion decay?
After trying out the flying lessons, the adult geese then gave grooming lessons! It was all very hilarious to watch. The young ones watched and did as their parents.

She isn't being hurt in any way (just for you information) the instructor said she was holding a bit too much (in a different part of the lesson) but if her hands were forward there would be loose reins, she is turning at the canter (and isn't forcing the mares head to her chest because you can tell the right hand/arm isn't at her hip too)
