In Washington, D.C., high school U.S. history teacher Bill Stevens taught about the struggle at Standing Rock using the Zinn Education Project lesson, "Standing With Standing Rock." As a culminating activity for the lesson, his students went to the #NativeNationsRise march on March 10, 2017 to learn, to make history, and to act in solidarity.
