Hand lettering is rarely used anymore, thank goodness, as I always hated doing it. If I had to, I would print out type and trace it. Have to admit though, it does have a certain 1940's hand made wobbly quality that has vanished from most artwork.
What I have learned is that it requires tons of practice, its a big mistake to think you can attempt to do it freehand, and
my spacing here is crap.
Yet to do exercise 3, lettering a 'film title', which apparently used to be a job once. But you get to choose or invent any kind of lettering for that. Woo - hoo!

Moving Mountains has built and supports a school at its Orphanage in Ulamba, Western Kenya. Children come from all over the local area to attend this primary school, where they have lessons and play along side the orphans.
The Moving Mountains Ulamba Orphanage is currently home to 37 children. They range from 4 years old up to mid teens. They live and are cared for at the Orphanage by staff and volunteers of Moving Mountains.
Gap year and volunteers can come and live and help out at the orphanage and school through Moving Mountains Trust.

Our famous grace and serenity depend on a cat feeling safe and comfortable at all times. Light at the entrance to a box allows good energy in. Darkness inside the box enhances feelings of warmth and safety.
