Taken in the Corte Madera, CA marsh, I have always been a fan of minimalism, and this shot of a great blue heron, to my eye, fits the definition of minimalism to a T.
For Sliders Sunday, I didn't do a whole lot of sliding on this one: I lightened the too-grey water and gave the bird only a slight Topaz treatment to enhance the detail a bit, but other than that, plus of course some cropping, the camera did a pretty good job all by itself on this one.
