Taken in the Corte Madera, CA marsh, I have always been a fan of minimalism, and this shot of a great blue heron, to my eye, fits the definition of minimalism to a T.
For Sliders Sunday, I didn't do a whole lot of sliding on this one: I lightened the too-grey water and gave the bird only a slight Topaz treatment to enhance the detail a bit, but other than that, plus of course some cropping, the camera did a pretty good job all by itself on this one.

Started out with a spoon with a piece of cereal and noticed the reflection from my window, so this evolved into a spoonful of my back garden instead.Fun to try something new.

My wife, Lisa pointed out to me this interesting visual as we were about to leave the Art Gallery of Ontario.
What appears to be someone drawing nothing, is actually a fellow art lover drawing the wooden set of stairs in the previous picture :)
